Is there a reason why we have this empty comment here at the end?
Oops this is just because I followed the format from Fall 2021. There was one empty comment at the end last time. Should I delete it?
Ahh okay I see, it looks like it's just a visual dividing line for us when we're looking at the Markdown (it doesn't change how the news shows up on the website). Since all the past election announcements seem to have it, we can keep it - it's really not a big deal either way. π
This might be an artifact of the XML to MD conversion process. It should be safe to delete.
